When the announcement was put out about Anne Hathaway joining the cast of The Dark Knight Rising, I pointed out that the press release did not reference Catwoman but only Selina Kyle.
At the time I had people push back and say it might have been an oversight or a mistake. But I felt it could be a clue that Catwoman might not appear in the movie or that Selina would transition...
