So, a trivial pet peeve before I go to bed.

I used to rant about never having a proper “comic book friend”. You know, someone to share the hobby with, someone to go to the comic book store with, someone to talk about writers and artists and new runs and that other half I never get to explore (you know, Marvel?) And I just realized that I might be putting people off by my sheer presence.

IDK, man. Something about me giving off this air to people and shit. My friends tell me that it’s something like, “I always need to be impressed” or “you give off this feeling that you judge people” and IDK. It just seems to be such a trite thing to say.

And you know, reflecting on this, this has been the usual case: the only time people speak comic-ese to me is either a) to ask me a question on canon, b) to ask me for recommendations, or c) to show how much they know about the dizzying world of the comic universe without me even asking or demanding that they pull something out of their ass.

GOD. People need to loosen up. I’m a fun guy, I promise. :)) I won’t bite…hard. =))

But really. Why do we all have to pretend to look our best and be at our finest and sharpest? We don’t have to do any of that. We don’t have to kill. We can all be friends. D:

On a completely related note, LOOKIT BATMAN.
